How does FPU work?
Beginning February 1st, many of our Singles, Young Families, Growing Families, Ladies, and Maturing Families classes will begin this video-based curriculum during Bible Fellowship. Students and Children will also have FPU material for their age groups. Other Video groups will be available on Sunday nights, Monday nights and Wednesday nights.
The adult Bible Fellowship classes that use FPU on Sunday Mornings will also be encouraged to form a discussion group that will meet another night of the week. These groups will discuss the previous Sunday’s video lesson and hold each other accountable.
Is childcare available?
Yes. All of our classes will meet at times when childcare is available for children 5th grade and under.
What happens if I have to miss one of the video lessons? How can I make it up?
If a person misses a video-lesson, he or she can make up the lesson by attending other FPU classes that will be offered on Sunday evenings, Monday evenings, or Wednesday evenings. Also, every FPU membership kit contains an audio CD library of all 13 lessons for review.
How much are the membership kits and what does everyone get?
Through a special arrangement, Blackshear Place will offset a portion of the regular cost ($93.00), charging $50.00 per kit.
Who needs a kt? Do I have to buy the membership kit to be involved?
Every family needs to buy a membership kit to take full-advantage of the course. Couples need only one kit. College students and singles will need a kit. Scholarships will be available for those that need one. People that do not purchase a kit can still attend the video lessons and discussion, but will not have all the materials the need.
Can I bring a friend?
FPU is a great opportunity to invite a friend to church. Visitors and guests are welcome and encouraged to attend.
